Vaccines do work, otherwise we would ALL be dead.

Yup. The vaccines' slogan is "less likely to suffer from severe illness", not "never going to be sick again for the rest of your life".

Seatbelts will likely save your life when getting into a car accident. They don't guarantee that you wont get messed up when getting into an accident.

Sadly nuance is always lost on fundamentalist opposition to anything.

How exactly would we all be dead? I'm unvaccinated, I got covid in Jan 2019, long before the "vaccines" were around. Since I had covid and I understand science I knew that I had natural immunity, therefore I did not take an experimental treatment which has now messed up tons of people.

I'll never understand why people keep spinning the wheel of chance with these treatments, especially when very serious side effects are finally being acknowledged.

You just don't understand how long serious vaccines have been used. Look up Edward Jenner. FYI, you have probably had both a polio and a flu vaccine at some point in your life. Both or either could well have impacted your health positively and you would be unaware of it.

I have lots of vaccine exemptions, due to a lethal raw egg allergy. I'll be sailing to Brazil soon, I have my yellow card, although it is an exemption rather than a yellow fever vaccination. I've never had a flu vaccine, on account of them being cultured in egg embryos. Vaccines for lethal diseases are serious. Covid is not a lethal disease, unless you're over 70, obese or vitamin d deficient.

It's all about trying to minimize the risk of infection, not about providing a 100% shield against it, as was the case with smallpox.

This virus is a clever one, mutating so as to avoid being killed off.

The vaccines are likely to succeed when the subject also takes the necessary steps to avoid unnecessary contact with others.

your understanding of COVID is minimal. it is a respiratory disease, related to flu. it is not particularly fatal in absolute numbers but FYI 6Million plus world wide is a not inconsequential number and the bell curve of this particular virus tends to affect more towards the elderly and the compromised than most viruses but does not exclude any other criteria whatsoever. Deaths run across the spectrum in more or less a bell curve but definitely affect all ages and situations.
