 Shannon Spruill, better known as "The Scream Queen" Daffney committed suicide last night at the age of 46. She threatened suicide during a livestream and said "Donate my brain to Boston" before the stream went offline. This afternoon, her mother confirmed her death. Edit; 3Sept2021: Some 48 hours later, I'm still broken up about it. Like I said, her mother broke the news on Facebook yesterday. While no cause of death was given, it's likely due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She brandished a pistol toward the end of the livestream. I was one of the many witnesses to her livestream that tried contacting her through Instagram. Daffney was one of the first women to make me care about women's wrestling. She was a performer that stood out to me instantly. I couldn't help but be a fan of hers straight away. I found her to be entertaining, no matter where she was. She was one of the only entertaining parts of WCW during its final years. Her run in TNA was awesome. One feud that she was engaged in that still sticks out to me is the feud that she had with Tara. Daffney was someone who, in a just world, should’ve gotten as much out of the wrestling business as she put into it. She gave everything she had to the wrestling business and she was a genuine sweetheart that wanted to ensure everyone was happy. As a fan, she meant as much to me as the Undertaker.

 Michael K. Williams Michael K.
