Books by a couple of people I've become a big fan of in the last year or so. Free Women, Free Men: Sex, Gender, Feminism by Camille Paglia and Dangerous by fabulous Internet supervillain Milo Yiannopoulos. Also bought a second copy of Dangerous to gift to my younger brother.

I can't stand it when I am trying to eat a steak or a chop and I can't cut into it.

Rudolf Serkin - The Complete Columbia Album Collection. His piano playing especially of Mozart Beethoven Schumann and Brahms brought light into my life on many cold brutal childhood days. If I had been told back then that I would one day have all his recordings I would not have believed it. And that I might have someone who loved me enough to actually get me those recordings I definitely would not have believed it.
