With the fast internet connection speeds we have, today, an 80 GB 4K movie downloads in just under an hour, for me, and I get to keep it on a spare offline HDD, without having to worry about the disc no longer playing after X amount of time. There's no point in collecting physical media anymore, unless it is a movie you actually love and care about, and know you will watch it on repeat viewings. If only studios were much clever in offering lossless 1:1 copies of their physical releases, at the same price of a Netflix/Amazon subscription, they would have made more millions of $$$, instead of raising the prices of physical media, double-dip and charge more money for a sub-par streaming service.
