lol you don't have to say "cover"; as with classical music, every time someone performs folk music like this it is a new interpretation and the artist makes it their own.

Care to postulate on the significance of the lead vocalist (and operatic master) of one of the world's most "evil" (yeahhhh, baby - say it with me - eeeeevvviiiillllll) heavy metal bands recording a Christmas carol about Jesus...what the motive might be there, Nono?

I'm thinking probably just tradition. Everybody loves Christmas, even murder-rapists. Though I could see Rob doing that to prove a point, maybe if only to himself or fans, if not the church and "upstanding,. proper" society. Remember, this is the band that took the blame for one kid disconnecting his brain with a shotgun, another one trying (poor kid survived the blast, horribly disfigured,) and god knows how many other crimes of passion.


BTW buddy-boy, you still need to watch your ass with the qualitative judgment calls and banter about Maiden. You know I luv you, baby...and I love Priest. But you are walking on thin ice when you rank on them. Esp. mentioning them in the same sentence with a band like Guns 'N Poses. Anyone can be gotten to, even at the other end of an internet connection.
