Sorry, but I must say that this is the only forum that has a strategy against spammers... and I strongly support the Staff on this!!! You can't find anything and have to spend hours searching for something...

And this is not just a novel rule - this will help us all, leechers and posters.

Rules are rules, of course - obey them or leave this place and find some spammers paradise (all other forum except this one!).

after last post, you must wait at least 24 hours before posting again in the same thread.

as explained in post 1, the rule is intended to stop members from bumping threads with new posts many times during a day.

Then why there are tons of user in the general porn bashing their way up the page every minute?

The rule only applies to "registered users" "VIP" members are exempt from the rule. Maybe that is what you are seeing?

You may start 4 new threads at the same time, if section rules permit it; ex. in General Porn you only are permitted 3 threads.

Assuming the threads are in a section having a One Hour Posting Rule, you may post in a thread for one hour from the time the thread is started. You may post again in that same thread for one hour, 24 hours later.

but he can only spam the thread for 60 minutes continuously, and there lies the value. It is an odd rule, have seen it nowhere else, but when the format changes from 'sharing to share' to 'sharing for cash' then rules like this become necessary. Sad but true. Unfortunate that it's needed, but shitty or not, rule has been fairly effective at limiting continuous bumping.

well acc to me its not good.
instead hv a limit of say 20post/day.

But only 20 posts are allowed in that one hour interval, so you can't spam one hour continuously.

If we allowed this without a One Hour rule then they could bump their posts during 20 hours of the day. Not good. With the One Hour rule they can bump it 20 times, but only during their One Hour posting period. Much better.

The One hour rule with a posting limit is best. In fact in some sections the limit is 10 posts not 20.
