Welcome to Planetsuzy's Signature contest!

Although its called signature of the week, its actually a loose 2 week period, depending on involvement, interest, and the host's schedule.

Nominations - runs from Monday to Friday.

Only graphical signatures can be nominated, and only those in use by Planetsuzy Members. They can be any dimension, but should not be more then 500 kb in size.

You may not nominate your own signature, or one you made (designed) for another member. Otherwise, You can nominate any signature you want. It doesn’t matter if the signature already won in the past, even the last competition.

Anyone can nominate up to 5 signatures. If there are a lot nominated, the host may decide to start voting early to keep the competition manageable.

When you nominate a signature, post it in this thread. Please include the member's ID who is using the sig, and the signature itself. If the sig isn't included in your nomination post, then the host may dismiss the nomination. If you know the designer is different from the sig user, please post this name as well.

Nominations don't begin until one of the hosts makes a post stating so. Any nominations preceding this announcement may be ignored by the host.

Voting - runs from Saturday to Thursday. New!

1. Every voter has 3 medals to assign to signatures: Gold, Silver, Bronze.

2. Gold yields 3 points. Silver yields 2 points. Bronze yields 1 point.

3. Only one medal can be assigned per signature. If more then one is assigned to a sig by a voter then only the highest medal will count.

4. Its preferable that all three medals be assigned, but not required.

5. You can assign them in any way, such as posting like the following examples:

Gold: Sig1, Silver: Sig2, Bronze: Sig3
or
Sig1, Sig2, Sig3 - Gold is always assigned first in this matter, then silver, etc
or
In any other manner that is clear. What is clear or not will be decided by the host, so its best to stick to the above voting formats. If its not clear the host may PM you for clarify or simply ignore your voting post.

You may not vote for your own signature, or one you made (designed) for another member.

Voting doesn't begin until one of the hosts makes a post stating so. Until then you can continue to nominate signatures. Any votes made before a hosts announcement may be ignored (host's discretion).

Winner - runs from Friday to Monday.

One of the hosts will announce the Winner, as well as 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Everyone then has time to design or find new signatures to nominate before the next round of SOTW begins.

The current competition doesn't end until the host posts the results. Until then members can continue to vote if they still have points to use.

Any points ties will be decided firstly by the most gold, then silver, then bronze medals awarded. If the winners all have the same medals then the victory will be shared.

The winner(s) will also be posted here, along with all the current year's winners. If there are two names listed, the first is the sig user, the second in brackets is the sig designer (if known).

If there is a prize for the winner (a file host account) and the designer and sig user are not the same person, then we suggest they share the account.

Rule Modifications

We welcome any new rule suggestions, modifications, or removals from the membership of Planetsuzy. We only ask that they are not made in this thread. Same goes for any clarifications on existing rules.

Instead we ask that you post this in the SOTW Social Group, or alternatively you can PM any of the hosts.
