![]() I'm surprised I didn't see any odds given for Dolph leaving Wrestlemania with two titles. I'm sure it is on some betting sites, but not the one I use. Probably a good 100/1
![]() I ended up going for Team Hell No although I'm not that confident because I'm thinking it is time for a change. |

![]() You're on a betting site? Jesus fuck, man. How are you not broke?
(You know I've got to be an asshole about this, right? ![]() Seriously though, I'd love to see Ziggy take both the IC and Heavyweight title. In a perfect world, he'd win the IC and steal Cena's title instead. EM: Check your PMs. ![]() |

![]() How can you guys bother with betting sites when we all know the winners are predetermined before the matches even start?

![]() Saints, I'm not broke because of the gambler for beginners advice ''don't bet more than you can afford to lose''
Karmafan, with wrestling bets it is just for fun and it doesn't happen that often. This will be the first event I've bet on in ages. William Hill doesn't do all the ppvs, but it does Wrestlemania because it is the biggest. I'm not going to go crazy and spend loads of cash on something that is fixed. Be sweet if they gave odds on random Monday night raw matches. |

![]() I think that they can afford a short-ish term heel turn by Cena if they can corral Rocky into a limited run with the WWE; if they can get a few months of Rock, they can peg him into the merchandise $$ role that Cena currently fills, and use Cena as a heel.
Then, in a few months (SummerSlam? Survivor Series??) they can have Cena revert to being a face, but with a bit more of an edge to retain some of the "smark" credit that he'll gain while serving as a heel. A short term run with Cena aligned with, say, Heyman+Lesnar or the S.H.I.E.L.D. would work, as it'd give him a reason to turn face again (e.g. those allies turning against him). I also think that Punk should return as a tweener/heel when he comes back from his post-Mania hiatus. Not a heel as he is now (e.g. aligned with Heyman, going against super-faces like Taker) but as someone that doesn't give a fuck about face/heel status and just does what he wants against whomever he wants. |

![]() that closing segment of Raw was ace
noticeable how Taker Punk has closed Raw 3 of 4 weeks, its had as much hype as Rock Cena, which Punk thoroughly deserves for carrying the company for the last 2 years |

![]() I was thinking in a fantasy bit, that if Cena turned heel, Punk would have to be face. Okay, not totally a face like last year, but similar to what burtog said. Going more into fantasy, to turn around as a face, Punk would have to beat Undertaker, get a surprising gesture of respect from Undertaker. Punk's off to the races as the face of the company in a way. Cena turns heel by cheating to win the WWE title. In a way, their feud with the roles reversed would be a more complete re-imagining of Rock and Austin. After all, both of those guys turned at the same year, 1997. Cena and Punk could not only turn on the same year, but the same night. Realistically, the only way Cena would be heel is if they had a guaranteed top face. Other than Rock and a turning Punk, I don't believe they have anyone capable of being that. Sheamus is not young and I think he peaked as World Champion. Unless they try him as WWE Champion. Randall would have to turn heel first and then turn back to face, to ascend to top face as his current status would be unrealistic. Del Rio is lower on getting over than Sheamus, and he's actually older than Sheam-O too.
I don't expect any turns, Wrestlemania 29 happens, the RAW after it sees every fan saying goodbye to the part-timers for a while and/or forever. Then after that, they (should) get to establishing the future. Looking at Wrestlemania 30, I think the part time talent to active talent ratio will be lower. Yeah it's a year away, but I can only see Rock and Lesnar committing to next year. Just by that, hopefully the dream Wrestlemania match of Punk and Bryan happens. Anyways, of course there was questioning on what William Moody's sons felt about the use of their father's Paul Bearer image on RAW this week. Quote:

![]() Michael Moody is probably not happy the way it went down but an envelope of Vince's greenbacks will help with that.

![]() I'd like to see Ziggy with both and AJ with the Divas title. You know, a good old fashioned heel stable with belts. We could call em Big ZigLee or something. Hell, let's give Big E the US title too while we're dreaming here.

![]() I'm sure Moody was feeling a bit uneasy seeing ashes that were meant to be his father poured over Taker. It was meant to be unsettling, and that's the genius of it. It's not often that the death of a personality can be used in that way, and it was awesome of the family to improve it. I'm certain Paul would've been proud, and even in death, he serves the business well.
It's been a long time since I've seen anything like that in wrestling. When a heel does something so morally reprehensible that not only do the fans dislike him, they hate him, you know you're doing something right. And these are the kinds of heels that I love to see-- these are the kind of heels that made me start rooting for the bad guys as a kid. And as Punk has said many times, it's this kind of thing that he loves. I would love to see a heel turn at Mania, namely Cena. I'm highly doubtful it would happen since we know he'll win, but I'd like to see him get a cheap win. Imagine this: SuperCena has been dominating the latter part of the match. Rocky is down, Cena 'accidentally' took out the ref in the corner, the crowd is thundering "Cena sucks!". He lines up to do the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but the ring shakes. A hand reaches up from beneath and throws brass knuckles into the ring. Cena stares at them forever, but Rocky stirs, the ref stirs. Cena looks right into the camera and smirks, and the lights go out. Ten seconds later, they're back on. Cena is out and covering Rocky, but wearing the knuckles. The ref is out again. Another ref runs down and counts it, Cena wins. Cena wakes up, shakes it off, grabs the title, and goes up the ramp. Eyes forward. The crowd is booing him like no tomorrow. Right in front of the Tron, he turns around and smirks into the camera, eyes dark. On Monday, his "Word Life" theme plays. He goes out and explains why he did what he did, because the people gave up on him. There is controversy as to who helped him, which is the Shield obviously. Boom, you've got a good storyline that writes itself for the next 2-3 months. As for Punk, there's no way he's turning face after desecrating Bearer's ashes. So, for awhile, we'll have two heels running the show (if my dreams come true). Rocky is set to stick around for a few months, so he'll give the kids a dose of the mindless morality. Ryberg can help out. Despite what people think, there doesn't have to be a good guy running everything. Sometimes the world falls into the hands of evil. ![]() Quote:
