![]() Undertaker's the guy the got me into wrestling all the way back at the 1990 Survivor Series. Everyone has a wrestler that they enjoy and support unconditionally. Some people have Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold, The Rock, Mick Foley, John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, or Daniel Bryan, but I have the Undertaker. He was always a bigger deal to me than any of them, even in recent years where he was part time.
When he made his entrance at the 1990 Survivor Series, I was immediately hooked. From the moment that he walked through the entrance curtain at the 1990 Survivor Series to the moment that he raised his fist at WrestleMania XXXIII to close the show, I always stuck by the Demon From Death Valley through the good times (winning titles, amassing the Streak) and the bad (injuries, losing the Streak, and retiring). He is a once in a lifetime superstar. While it greatly saddens me that his time is up, I can only smile because I was able to watch him perform from beginning to end. I smile over all of the cherished memories that he has given me throughout his career like seeing his victory over Hulk Hogan live at the 1991 Survivor Series, seeing his awesome entrance live at the 1996 Survivor Series, watching him face Kane both times live at WrestleManias XIV and XX respectively, among countless other moments. While his career draws to a close, his legacy will remain for all of eternity and I am privileged to have watched him for these 26+ years. To me, he is the Greatest of All Time.

![]() No one should score any match on the main card over 3 stars in my eyes.. I didn't watch last year mania but pulled up the network for this year.
Austin/Neville - 4/5 Very good match and good start. Loved Aries backdrop to the floor, his chops were good, Aries top rope axehandle, Neville's backflip off the top rope. Aries with a nasty top rope missile dropkick. Neville's german suplex was sick. These guys were killing the spots. Fantastic match that should've been on the main card instead of the SD divas match.. I'll get to that later. No match touched this match. Best match of the night and it's the first match on the pre-show. A travesty. Mojo winning the Royal was fine with me nice to see him with Rob Gronkowski. Not helped by Michael Pole's dumb commentating. Dean/Baron - 1.5/5 Boring match that was worked sloppy and sucked balls with the only good part was the finish. They probably were upset they were moved to the pre-show. Timing was just off.. Dean no doubt misses working with Aj Styles. Aj/Shane - 2.5/5 That match was alright.. Aj pulling most of the weight with technical stuff and Shane pulling off a very good shooting star press was good. At 47 to get that kind of ups. Now can they please give Aj better opponents!? Especially for next Wrestlemania! The story they were trying to tell was dumb.. Aj surviving Shane? And the commentators acting surprised he won. Owens/Jericho - 3.5/5 Good match. Really good back and forth with the counters and reversals. The missed frog splash, cannon balls, Codebreaker out of the pop powerbomb. Good to see Owens get a clean win. Could argue the best match on the main card wrestling wise. We got more Michael Pole commentating botches. Raw Divas Title Match - 2.5/5 I loved the ganging up on Nia Snacks and her elimination. Her bonzai drop was sick. Let her use that more for a finish. Charlotte's corkscrew was sick. Disappointed no Sasha heel turn but glad Charlotte didn't win. Enough with her, so happy for Bayley finishing with the elbow even though her title reign is ass. Tag Team Ladder - 3/5 Gets it's score from The Hardy's returning alone! Pop of the night no question! Been following them since they were jobbers. So, I marked out big time when they came out. Their usual spots were good and Jeff's dive off the ladder was awesome. Didn't think they win but hey I'll take it! So, overall Mania is doing well at this point with the first half, but oh boy the second just went downhill. Funny it all starts with Cena. Cena/Nikki vs Miz/Marsye - 1/5 Pointless match that should've been on the pre-show. Miz and Maryse should've won period but whatever Cena will always be trash in my world. His proposal was the fakest crap I've ever seen. You wanna talk about an awkward relationship look no further than Cena and Nikki. They're just awkward and so fake. Rollins/Nipple H - 2/5 Nipple H had a pretty cool entrance. Rollins entrance sucked and was boring. I hate his theme song so much. Anyway it was your usual Nipple H match. Got boring at times and didn't exceed expectations. Stephanie taking that bump through the table was great! Orton/Wyatt - 1/5 This match sucked.. It's Orton and Wyatt and that's all we get? Not an Orton hater but he won because? Smh. Bray Wyatt is now 0-3 at Wrestlemania and no matter what Vince will never take him seriously. Just wasted match... with nothing to talk about. Brock/Goldberg - 2.5/5 This match was a car crash between two beasts! I did not expect it to be so short but I liked what I got honestly. Crowd shitting on Goldberg was just ugh but oh well. An okay match that got the crowd back into it but was too short so can't grade it any higher. SD Divas Title Match - 1/5 This match was a train wreck and should've also been on the pre-show substituting with Neville and Austin. They just threw them out there to be a breather before the main event obviously. Too many women in the match, too much going on with women in and out of the ring. Botches, and just sloppy. Naomi going over was no surprise and I hate seeing Alexa tap out at Mania. Her track record against Naomi is bad.. No Mercy, 6 tv matches, 4 pins, 1 submit and having both her titles reign ending at her hands, ugh. The SD divas divisions is terrible right now. They need to get their shit together with these ladies asap. Reigns/Taker - 1/5 Another boring match for me. Reigns with his typical punches and clotheslines, kicks, samoan drops. Heck he hit 9 straight clotheslines in the corner. More punches on the turnbuckle. They tried to tell the story of Taker starting to break down. They were trying to do the HBK/Flair finish and it failed miserably. Taker whispering you don't got the balls until yet another spear for the win. The crowd had no reaction. Reigns maybe was trying to sell feeling guilty but no and made worse by giving him fireworks to rub his victory in. Man, I feel bad for Taker fans. Pushing a guy like Reigns is such a bad idea but Vince gives no fucks and he chooses this guy to retire Taker? Oh boy. The Roman empire is in full effect. Main reason why you shouldn't invest too much time with this company right now. So, 2nd half of Mania brought the show down. 1st half was good and the peak of the show was no doubt the Tag match with The Hardy's returning. Then afterwards was meh and again starting with Cena and ending with Reigns bringing the show to the lowest point. Wrestlemania 33 5/10. Oh well I had a nice ramble ![]() |

![]() After watching Mania I left feeling it was all very average. Only "moments" really were the retirement and the Hardy Boyz return.
How Seth beat HHH I have no idea. HHH looks in great shape, arguably was the best performer on the show (I noticed his selling way more than anyone else) and lost to one legged Seth whose selling paled in comparison and with his constant putting pressure on his dodgy leg took me out of it. Also it looked ridiculous that they have the same finisher. Bray and Orton was very sad. Too much focus on hocus pocus bollocks and the match played second to it. Wrong guy won, Orton is a dried up character, needs a refresh badly. Bray looked like a joke as usual. I don't know how many times he can recover at this point. Reigns and Taker it was sort of ominously looming that Reigns would win so I telegraphed where it was heading and was a bit somber watching it, turned to seeing if I liked the way Reigns went about it. It would probably have been a lot better if the streak was still intact as Reigns would get super heat but it's still same old with him. With Taker breaking kayfabe with that interaction with his wife at the end was totally telling it's over unless he has only ditched the zombie for biker again. I think it's the end of the older generation era, that's what is more sad, knowing nobody will ever be as over as those guys anymore. The business is overly exposed, everyone is under the microscope, management has an iron grip, they got no real competition. It's moved from gimmicks and characters to having great matches. If you see great matches all the time then you need really really great matches to get any satisfaction. WWE could really use a Daniel Bryan or CM Punk right about now. I'm only behind AJ Styles and that's pathetic to say when you think about it. Watching five hours a week for one dude. |

![]() The heat Roman had on Monday was amazing, I've never seen a guy getting booed so much. He could cure cancer and still would have getting booed. And you know is legit "go away" heat when they chant "Go Away". What was even funnier was when they chanted "Roman sucks" to Vince.
And Boy they treat Smackdown like the redhead stepson, RAW gets both the Hardys and the Revival and the cool ladder match at Mania while the top challengers and champions on Smackdown end up in the Battle Royal. I know there will be a shake up of sorts, but the way they have been acting towards SD, it wouldn't surprise me if they send Alpha to RAW in exchange for the Shining Stars or the Golden Truth. Rumors said that AJ is going to RAW, which would be a big blow to SD since he has been the MVP of WWE in the last 15 months

![]() WrestleMania for me was a bit of a meh show. It had its moments - what with the Hardy's returning and Taker's emotional retirement.
RAW was much of the same - but again, cool moments with the Revival, Angle as the new GM and Finn coming back. I loved the segment with Strowman and Lesnar - hoping to see those two go at it sometime soon. |

![]() Wrestlemania for me was it started well then around Seth vs HHH it went downhill bear with me on this as i put my thoughts of WM and RAW.
Aries vs Nevile was a great match should of been on the main show i was hoping they'd of done a 6 man ladder match at WM to really show off the cruiserweights plus WM fans love a Ladder match as we saw later. Ambrose vs Corbin should of been on the main show but it was good for what it was the End of Days counter to Dirty Deeds was a thing of beauty and im glad Dean won as he needed a WM win (which he should of had against Brock) ATGBR was eh who cares about Mojo Rawley, was nice to see Big Damo aka Killian Dain get a chance there as their NXT rep and Big Show goes out on a whimper for his last WM thou im not that broken up about that after his crap at the RR15 AJ vs Shane was better then i thought it'd be and the right guy won and was probably Shanes best match (because of AJ) the phenominal forearm counter into the DDT was nice. The Tag Ladder Match was fun nice to see the Hardys hoping they'll let them be broken down the line after the lawsuit is dusted and Cesaro is a freak. Jericho vs Owens was solid loved the pop powerbomb counter into the codebreaker and Owens won so thats good hope the rematch will be just as good if not better. The light up scarf and giant version of the list for Jericho's entrance was great. RAW womans title match was eh not much to say Charlotte's corkscrew moonsault to the outside was nice but very anticlimatic ending. Rollins vs HHH was where it got slow HHH's entrance was just silly he was on was is known as a motorbike with stablizers Seths was cool, HHH really needs to hang it up now because its getting embarrassing to see now HBK retired but the match was what i expected HHH plodding along till Steph went through a table from the weakest nudge i ever saw, good that Seth won i thought HHH huge ego was gonna take over there (Roadblock for example) Cena & Nikki vs Miz & Maryse was just what i expected but Nikki diving on to Miz should of been a DQ but the proposal made me ![]() because it was just so hokey and Nikki knew before hand lets hope Cena got her to sign a prenup before he proposed unless he wants a repeat of last time. Orton vs Bray was such a let down, all it did was make Bray look dumb with his little acid trips showings in the ring but Randy was gonna win because Vince had to pay his debt to Randy after letting a roided gorilla caved his head in at Summerslam. Speaking of the roided gorilla Brock vs Goldberg was short which it should of been but i dont care for either two they both just need to go away. Smackdown womans match was short but was okay and Becky looked hot as usual and finally Reigns vs Taker while it was great for JR to commentate on this after what he's been through this match was just a mess the crowd were tired after 6 hours 8 for some and annoyed because they could just see what was gonna happen Reigns just spammed the same 4 moves through out the match, Taker was hurting badly he was struggling to keep Reigns up for the Last Ride and the finish was just dissapointing. If its Takers last match which i'm hoping because he was looking really banged up he doesnt need to do this anymore, i was sad because all the time i've watched wrestling Undertaker has been around he's now the last of the true stars of the attitude eras that is retired now. The quick summary of RAW, the opening segment was hilarious if WWE thought something else other then that was gonna happen they're deluded Vince getting Roman Sucks and Fire Roman chants was funny - Happy for Kurt Angle becoming GM his segments were pretty good - Fuck yeah Revival and Balor, the best chants were along with the ones aimed at Roman were the Sheamus and Cesaro chant to Do The Conga by Black Lace, the Samoa Joe chant to the "Greenlight" song from WM and the Sami Zayn one to "Daddy Cool" Sorry for the long winded post lol. |

![]() It was much better than last years, lets put it that way.
If Finn returned on RAW why didnt they use him during Wrestlemania to create some drama? They have a lot of top quality wrestlers / performers, now they need something to spruce it up. They really need another faction built up or something different. Its all been done before, but if you do it properly and with the right touch it still works. |
