A couple thoughts for kicks and giggles. Forgive my rambling if it becomes boring.

First, how in the fuck do you drive a Bugatti into water? I mean, yes, I get it. Even little mistakes in fast cars can have catastrophic consequences. But you are driving a piece of art. It would be like throwing a Rembrandt in your backpack and doing some amateur off road biking. You make fucking SURE you know what you are doing b/c if you mess up, you just harmed mankind by your mistake.

Second, I was just in La Jolla (San Diego), CA. I knew there would be nice cars but...holy dick. The line up I saw of the truly exotics were: a Scuderia, a bunch of "common" Ferraris, every current Lambo, a Spyker, a few Bentleys and Rolls, of course a bunch of Astons including TWO DBS (holy shit), a Maserati Granturismo S, some older racers, and...get this...an actual Veyron and a Reventon. Sadly, no MC12 or Enzo. Those are the last two "super cars" I've yet to lay eyes on. All of these were at dealerships.

I'll say this. If money were not an issue, I come to you with the humble submission that the best one to own would be the Scuderia. This is all subjective I know but it is very rare, almost as fast as the Veyron or Reventon, but not so damn impossibly rare or expensive as to be almost too much to drive. Now, since I'm not going to ever afford that car, but I DO think I MIGHT someday be able to buy a $150k car or so (maybe I'm full of shit...here's hoping I'm not). Truly: Maserati Granturismo S. They fired it up at the dealership for me. Holy shit. I've never heard an engine like that. That, my friends, is in my opinion the finest car in the world. Totally subjective, but it is 1) attainable 2) fast (though not crazy fast) 3) arguably has the best lines on any car our there w/o looking like a space ship 4) its a Maserati. How many of those do you see in a day?

You must have seen the Reventon at Symbolic. If so that is Reventon 3/20 I have pics and it is one kick ass car but not worth 4 times the price of the standard Murci. There is a lot of money in la Jolla so cars such as lambos and F cars are very common. There is a guy down there with 3 Veyrons in his garage and a 4th on the way...

Oh my god! I know you you're talking about! I spoke to the owner of the dealership that had the Veyron and he said that there was a real estate guy that - just as you said - owned x3 veyrons and had a fourth on the way. I guess when you're that obsessed/rich words gets around!

Small world that you knew about that exact same place too! Especially considering the fact that I'm a Nebraskan
