The Transformers Prime movie came pretty close. Then again that series was pretty much a full-blown love letter to the Transformers fandom. But it's sad that it got followed up by RID 2015.

@@cockroachcharlie5619 There's only one Arcee in this footage, the video was simply compiled from footage of several different songs which inadvertantly gives the impression of two separate Arcees. And there you go! No more reason to complain now. :)

Don't worry man, F1 is alive and well. Combiner Wars was not just a tribute, it was a fine continuation - as G1 as you can get today, and it was a great series.

im probably one of the few humans who was a child during gen 1, saw Transformers the movie in theaters right when it came out, cried IN theater to optimus' death, but it was salvaged by just the sheer SPECTACLE of this film to the eyes and ears of a 5 year old, then got the cassette tape of the soundtrack, learned all the words to every song, screamed them in my room or daycare in the summer, then got the vhs for christmas a year or two later and learned every word to the script after... can still do it now... you guys are doing amazing things...

One of my favorite cinematic memories. When they fired the first shot that put a hole in an autobot, my heart came out of my throat. I was 13.

I was 11 in the summer of 86, and remember seeing it in the movies. Today, my kids love to watch the movie on the dvd player in our minivan... I have since listened to it more times than I have actually watched it.
I was 10 when my mom dropped me off to watch this. It's transformers, it's tame right? Man what a ride. The movie taught me a lesson. Even our greatest heroes can die and no one is safe. What a shock to a 10 year old. I still get sad listening to the Death of Optimus song. :`(
Funny thing years ago before covid it was rereleased in a local theater. Half the time I was quoting it line for line.
