My son and i have been sleeping too this video coming up on 3 years now. The symphony of the storm and ocean are pure perfection. Plus it's dark enough to sleep with, light enough to navigate through the dark as needed. This is a masterpiece in so many ways.

I have been watching this same video repetivly for at least two years now....I've had ALOT of trauma and loss of family members and through it all even though I put my trust in God.....I have suffered to the point of being diagnosed with PTSD.....this video is the only one that soothes my anxiety to be able to sleep....the only thing is after about 5 hours it shuts off and it disturbs my sleep...is there anything that could prevent this from happening?I so so appreciate this video. @@NatureTherapy

It reminds me of an area on Block Island Rhode Island where I lived for a couple years.I would drive my Van down to this area and sit and watch the water rush in.And on occasion it would be raining etc etc.

On a trip to Jamaica once, we were staying in a castle in the upper tower. We were 70' up but our windows were over the ocean. That first night, a storm came up and the wind howled through the castle and waves crashed so hard that they were hitting the end of our bed 70' up. My husband slept like a baby, but I was up being totally paranoid. In the morning, the owner said he was shocked we stayed. We went for a walk that morning and boats had been tossed up onto shore. Jamaica is so beautiful that it just made the trip even more interesting. I'll never forget that night. Couldn't believe my husband's snoring through it lol

The lightning flashes are so bright, I can see them with my eyes shut just as I would with a real storm. Strangely it has a sedating effect. And I like how the thunder is nothing more than rumbles. Difficult to subconsciously detect an artificial repeating pattern like many similar videos do.
