Man, look out for the incredible Despecialized Editions in HD

You're not going to be disappointed. Those guys who put out those versions did a pretty damn good job at restoring everything from the old LaserDiscs, Telecine transfers and even VHS tapes.
I got the original 17-20 GB versions that I burned onto 3 Blu-Ray discs. Never watched the new Blu-Ray transfers ever again.
It's definitely a great upgrade
